Carhartt Sustainable Cotton Initiative

An educational installation that brings Carhartt’s sustainable cotton initiative to life; connecting product, process, and impact in a clear, visual way.

This project was created for the design building at Carhartt’s headquarters to help communicate and educate around the brand’s sustainable cotton initiative.

The work translates a complex, multi-year effort into a clear, physical experience. Developed in collaboration with cross-functional teams; including R&D, supply chain, procurement, sourcing, marketing, and the sustainability team—the installation highlights how Carhartt is approaching cotton more responsibly.

The display combines product, information, and physical elements; like raw cotton, to help tell the full story, from sourcing through to finished garments. The goal was to make the information approachable and easy to understand, while still grounded in real data and process.

By bringing these elements together in one space, the installation serves as both an educational tool and a way to connect people more directly to the work happening behind the product.
